Rugged Design
The rugged XT660 Shaft Alignment tool is built for the harshest of environments. It has been tested and approved to an IP rating of both IP66 and IP67 – water, dust and shock-proof. With the XT-60 measuring units’ superior performance in sunlight and long operating times, this guarantees you will be able to take on and finish even the toughest jobs.

User-Friendly
This huge touch screen display is glove friendly and works just like your phone or tablet. Its tap and go right at you finger tips. The intuitive user interface guides you through the laser alignment process. Use the rugged Easy-Laser XT11 display unit, or install the free XT laser alignment application on your iOS or Android device. You are not locked-in to a specific way of working. With the XT laser alignment application there are no license hassles either, only free updates!

More Measurement Capabilities
The Easy-Laser XT660 laser alignment measuring units utilize dot laser technology. This makes it possible to measure larger machine spans than the line laser tools. Perform precision shaft to shaft alignments (horizontal and vertical machines) up to 20 meters (66 feet)! New laser alignment measurement methods like Multipoint and Continuous Sweep gives you options for any alignment application, not to mention it provides higher accuracy & repeatability when backlash is present from gearboxes or couplings. The Easy-Laser XT660 shaft alignment tool also allows you to check more things when installing a machine, e.g. twist of foundation, bearing clearance and machine stress.

Comprehensive Documentation
Finish laser each alignment with an automatic report on your measurements results. You can type in any comments into the Notes section and easily create a PDF report containing all measurement data. Or why not share it (email) right from the display? The XT11 display unit also comes with a 13MP camera. This means you can photograph the machines identification tag and a picture of the machine for your report. You can also get the XT11 display unit with a built-in IR camera so you can add a thermal image of the machine before and after alignment!

Measuring Units with Dot-Laser Technology
The wireless XT-60 measuring units use a dot-laser technology which makes it possible to measure longer machine spans than line laser systems and the ability to measure base twist. They come pre-mounted with chains and rods, can operate in -10 to 50 degrees C temperature with superior performance in sunlight and with the new and improved batteries can operate for up to 24 hours straight!
Powerful Options
Expand your XT660 shaft alignment tool with powerful options making your system an all-in-one measurement tool! Add the IR Camera accessory and capture thermal images of your machines before and after laser alignment. Use the XT190 BTA Pulley Alignment Tool and align your belt drives. Or try the XT280 Vibration measurement Tool to check the vibration levels. Choose all three options for the ultimate system in machine reliability!

Frequently Asked Questions
What unique checks does the XT660 perform?
Foundational or base twist, cardan shaft or universal joint alignments, bearing clearance, and machine stress during installation.
What measurement methods does the XT660 shaft alignment tool offer?
9-12-3 – the classic clock position method where measurements are taken at 9, 12 and 3 o’clock positions. Necessary when you can’t use inclinometers (ie., on ships, cranes, wind turbines, etc.) or when machine sets are at an angle, or not at a level plane.
Easy-Turn – method when limited rotation is necessary where you can get measurement values with as little as 40° rotation.
Continuous Sweep – Automatic recording of measurement values during continuous sweeping of the shaft. The easiest and quickest way to obtain the alignment status on coupled machines where hundreds of points are registered. Quality check of measurement is provided.
Uncoupled Sweep – Used when the machines are uncoupled and when the rotation can be difficult to control. Rotate one shaft/unit at a time to pass with the beam over the other (stationary). Repeat alternately until enough measurement points are recorded. Used for big heavy machinery like gas turbines, wind turbines or gear boxes which can be difficult to rotate to a specific position.
Multipoint – record many points for a more optimized calculation basis. Perfect for example, turbine alignments and sliding bearing applications. Quality check of measurement is provided.
What is the IP rating of the Easy-Laser XT660?
It has IP66 and IP67 ratings, making it dust-proof, water-proof, and shock-proof for harsh environments.
How long does the XT660 battery last?
The wireless measuring units run up to 24 hours on improved batteries, with long operating times even in -10 to 50°C.
What distance can the XT660 measure at?
Up to 20 meters (66 feet) between units using dot laser diode technology.
Does the XT660 handle backlash in couplings or gearboxes?
Yes, Continuous Sweep and Multipoint methods improve accuracy and repeatability.
Can the XT660 align vertical shafts or machines?
Yes, supports both horizontal and vertical shaft-to-shaft alignments.
