Join us and a special guest from EASY-LASER at the RATS (Rotating and Turbomachinery Society) MRO Technical Conference and Tradeshow on Oct. 25-26 at the DOW Centennial Center in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The RATS MRO is a biennial learning and networking opportunity, sharing acquired knowledge, fostering education and career development focused on rotating equipment optimization.

CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW – DAY 1

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25, 2023

FREE conference consisting of twelve (12) sessions of one-hour length. There will be 3 separate sessions running concurrently at 4 separate time slots.  Presentations will be technical in nature and will be of interest to the audience involving topics in the Maintenance, Reliability and/or Operations fields. The presentation should take approximately 45 minutes to complete and should be followed by a 10-15 minute question and answer period. Presentation hours are eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits. Coffee, drinks, snacks, and lunch will be provided.

Our colleague – Roman Megela, Senior Reliability Engineer at Easy-Laser – will be speaking at the conference on Wednesday and delivering a workshop on Thursday. For description and Romans bio, see below.

The Trade Show will take place during the mid-day presentation break. Come visit and query the industry’s well known suppliers, vendors, service providers, and other valued professionals that provide solutions to the rotating equipment industry. BENCHMARK PDM will have our own booth during the trade show. We will have all of our current EASY-LASER product line and will also give you access to the latest technological advances and instrumentation specialized in conditional maintenance. Lunch will be provided during the tradeshow.

WORKSHOPS – DAY 2

THURSDASY, OCT. 26, 2023

Day 2 includes 4-hour (half-day) training sessions (with exception of John Crane full-day) taking place on Thursday. These courses provide a local training opportunity at a very reasonable cost. They are ideal for EIT’s, new hires, apprentices, and also for experienced personnel that want to cross train and become more well rounded. This affordable workshop is made possible by some of the well known and trusted experts in the rotating equipment industry. Workshop hours are eligible for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits. Lunch will be provided.

SPECIAL GUEST, ROMAN MEGELA SPEAKING AT CONFERENCE & WORKSHOPS

Roman Megela, Senior Reliability Engineer at Easy-Laser will be speaking at the conference on Wednesday, as well as delivering a workshop on Thursday.

Bio: Roman Megela Gazdova works as a Reliability Engineer at Easy-Laser AB. Roman has more than 20 years of experience in assembly, commissioning and service of gas compression systems all over the world, from Europe to Asia and USA. From glass production, stainless steel production, oil and gas, oxygen, petrochemical, natural gas, biogas, hydrocarbons. He has is a vibration specialist certificate CAT 1. Roman has a Mechanical engineering background with specialty of optimizing productions processes. Now, Roman is on a mission to teach good practice for reliable machinery installation through Reliability language.
